Posted April 28, 2016. new racing cdi trz50 wiring for predator 90. cdi has a green and yellow wire going to a 2 pin plug. and has a red a black and blue with bullet connectors what wires go were on the the ate wiring harness. and how would i wire if i want to bypass the atv harness. Some other things to check before replacing the CDI would be to make sure that the battery is good and that the ATV is charging, as this can cause also cause a problem similar to what you're describing. Also, drain the fuel out of the carb bowl and make sure your fuel doesn't have any water in it. Reply. Save.3 oct 2013 ... I replaced the ignition coil start plug wire and cap and plug and batteries good which leaves the CDI box and hopefully not the starter or whatever else. But it died on me in route did idle down to a low and then quit it has not started since then but the engine does spin freely.The 6 Pin CDI comes in the form of a black box fitted with a male connector up top. There are six different electrical pins inside of this connector that serve to provide power to the machine by syncing the various parts of the ignition system.
